The French people stormed the Bastille on this day and created the start of the French Revolution.. A few years earlier in 1779 they created another revolution in the form of pommes de terre frites a cru en petites. Or as we have come to know them French Fries. Whatever you call them try ours with lashing of gravy. They are truly addictive.
