Founders Day
Gerry, the founder of Spatz Sports Bar, established the venue 45 years ago with a plan to create a welcoming space for sports enthusiasts and casual diners alike. Driven by his passion for sports and community, he transformed a modest building into a vibrant gathering place where friends could come together to enjoy sports, great bar food, and a party atmosphere. From the outset, Gerry ensured that Spatz would become a cornerstone of Winter Park culture.and a rite of passage for many and has evolved into a beloved establishment, cherished by patrons through generations.. Burns celebration, also known as Burns Night honors Scottish poet Robert Burns. At SPATZ we will feature a traditional snack of Scotch Egg to be enjoyed with Glenlivet a delicious single malt scotch whisky. since 1824 matured in American and European Oak casks While Rabbie did not live long enough to experience the unique taste of Glenlivet we can imagine he would be proud of our Scottish heritage.We will be wearing our Kilts will you ?

SPATZ is the best place to ring in 2025, with Champagne toast at midnight and open right through until 2am, say goodby to 2024 with us , New Year resolutions can wait until later.
